By transforming materials designed for comfort and decoration into the structure itself, Womb Room explores the concept of architecture as body. It blurs boundaries between garments, domestic comfort, and familiar spaces to uncover visceral, womb-like attachments within our habitable environments. Floral patterns, woven blankets, and other domestic artifacts coalesce into a raw, almost intestinal form that reimagines their original purpose.

The installation adapts to the surrounding architecture, guided by principles of feng-shui to glitch social programming. Its shape encourages viewers to gather inside, fostering intimacy and private dialogue within a cave-like, nurturing space. Inside, tactile objects such as small instruments, Play-Doh, and puzzles will invite interaction, echoing the warmth and communal energy of humans gathering around a fire.
